The Raiders were the only team in the division to lose yesterday. They looked pretty bad, with Derek Carr throwing for two INTs - including a pick 6 - and sealing the loss by fumbling the ball on a strip sack. They only drop 1 spot in the division standings though, and are in 2nd place behind the Chargers in AFC West. The Raiders insist that the Ruggs situation didn't affect them, but you know that's not true. They don't have a scary WR on the roster now. They have signed Desean Jackson, presumably to replace Ruggs as a deep threat. But at 34, I don't know if Watson scares defenses anymore. He wasn't scaring anybody while on the Rams. We'll see.

Broncos are a mirage, and best case they win enough to keep the grumpy old coach and screw their draft position. Raiders are all set up to implode. Chiefs are not the Chiefs this season.

But the gilding has fallen away from Chargers and they are a very flawed team. Cannot run the ball, defense is poor. Special teams awful, but better this last game. This division is wide open.

Ohio State & Alabama.

Those two Universities run really clean programs, never a hint of the NCAA investigating them.

I did hear some talk a few years ago of the NCAA looking into the S.D.S.U. football/basketball programs.

They must have been cleared of something.
