On paper...at the moment...with all our new acquisitions we'd beat the snot out of the Rams. 34-17!

McVay is a really good coach that can get away with that approach but I don't see it being a winning formula for most clubs.
Ours might be if Staley is the real deal
if he is we have our QB and HC combo for 20 more years.
Nice thought to end the day on.

It all comes down to player evaluation and coaching.

The Rams have done a good job evaluating players for trade, fitting those players into their system and using the draft to fill in with cheap players to offset the higher cost players

I wonder if Green Bay's going to draft another first round quarterback with the Raiders gift. Heard that they're also in on Gilmore. Looks like the arms race continues on.

I'll give it to the Raiders, with Davante, Renfroe, and Waller, they have the best receiving core in the NFL. I still think we're better, but they aren't going to be a pushover. I'm very curious to see how Adams does with an inferior QB throwing to him. He's a helluva talent, but Rodgers is also an incredible QB who does so many little things so well.

Here is my early AFC West prediction (just standings not records).

                      1. Chargers
                      2. Chiefs wildcard #1
                      3. Broncos no wildcard
                      4. Raiders no wildcard

The two other wildcards in the AFC will be #2 Ravens and #3 Patriots. The Broncos and Raiders will finish around .500 with eight or nine wins, but will not be in the playoffs.

Adams and Carr were teammates at Fresno st and they are friends. I don't think he feels Carr is an inferior QB.

I think Carr is a better QB than most fans give him credit for but he does have the happy feet and did in college.
