I remember Derek Carr and Davante Adams at Fresno State. I remember Carr and Adams, in their final season together, putting up 52 pts on my San Jose State (alma mater). But San Jose State put up 62 pts on them, and knocked Fresno State of the BCS ranking. It is a very good memory indeed. :chuckle:

Raiders doubling down on Derek Carr.

A tough hard battle with hopefully us on top given that I feel only Mahomes is currently better than Herbert. But that could change this season. I feel like the rest of the AFC is hoping we cannibalize each other. But I can also see all four teams making the postseason.

When we signed our FA's and traded for Mack I felt we can win the AFCW this year. Then the other AFCW teams started making their moves and I think it will be a real dog fight. AND, we still haven't fixed the right side of the OL. Never easy!

Be interested in the Adams contract he is 29 so I am wondering if they have an out after two or three years ... 2 top draft picks for a receiver with a short shelf life in a year with some a deep wr draft may hurt them down the road.

IMHO, there's really not that much difference between 6th & 7th rounders and UDFAs. You can occasionally find a gem in the bottom two rounds, but you can also find them among the undrafted. Austin Ekeler is a case in point, and the cornerback the team just gave $40 mil guaranteed to was an undrafted rookie.

Dallas’s new RT was a UDFA. Yeah, they’re out there.
