We are a .500 team, even with Ekeler

James Connor from the Cardinals would be a good fit for Bolts.......maybe affordable price too.

Trade down to about spot 23, draft Penning, use the extra pick to grab Pierce, Brian Robinson or Kennedy Brooks in later rounds. We need a back who can get those 4th and 1's. I'd kind of like to see what Breece Hall could do as a bolt, but we'd probably have to use our 2nd rounder on him. Who else is out there as a bigger bodied back we can keep our eyes on who could help us out in this draft? Love the draft talk guys, great place to learn, thanks!

The Aztec in me is hoping to see Rashaad Penny in Powder Blues.

I'd agree if he wasn't injured so much. Last year was the most he played since he was drafted.

For me he isn't reliable enough which is why Jackson likely won't be back. Penny has been injured more than Jackson.

RB would be one of my choices at the top of the draft.

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion here, but Ekeler is not it. This franchise went from LT to Ekeler?! Yes we had Melvin Gordon for a bit, but I think even with Herbert, we really need a legit every down back. I can tell you the Raiders are pissing away Josh Jacobs and will not re-sign him. He also hates their new coaching hire and has never been happy about playing with Derek Carr. Could be an option to steal in FA next year for a discount.

I have no problem drafting a running back in the second round this year. Especially if we do what we need to do in free agency. But regardless, id love to have Breece Hall.

I think using an early pick on a running back if there's one we love available, we absolutely should. Ekeler to me is more of a 3rd down back being forced to be "the guy" because he's currently all we have. Not a HUGE need by any means, but if there's a chance to upgrade in the draft, you do it.
