Kenneth Murray Is Not Playing Much...WHY?

I’m tried of always waiting till next year too. It fucking sucks!
We are as close to a legitimate SB roster now more so than any other time in my 50 years as a Bolt fanatic.
We absolutely need these young guys to excel quickly but 1-3 seasons is quickly.
2022-??? Is our SB window. Let’s keep building.

P.S. The illusion of a rookie QB contract SB window is a farce.

Are you kidding? We had much more complete rosters in 79, 80 and 2006 just for starters. Those teams we’re loaded comparatively

Get to the SB?
Only 1 of those teams made the AFCCCG.
2 of those rosters we’re 1 and done in the playoffs.

I’ve been wrong about the Bolts more than I’ve ever been correct but we have a CHANCE to have a complete roster over the next 1-2 offseasons.
Will we accomplish that? No clue.
I could make the additions/subtractions needed.

I am excited about our future.
I said from the beginning of this offseason that our SB Window really begins to open in 2022 and will remain open for another 10+ years.
I don’t buy into the drivel of rookie QB contract bullshit. Only 4 in the past 15 seasons (Mahomes, Wilson, Flacco, Roethlisberger)
The moves over the last 2 years is encouraging and the addition of Staley is essential.
We have draft capital and almost $100,000,000.00 in Cap space.
The organization has the opportunity to change the status of the franchise.

Coach Staley mentioned that Kenneth Murray was in some designed rush packages today. Murray was at EDGE for the play I saw.

I didn’t even notice him in there today. And it doesn’t look like he made a single tackle. I doubt they’ve already written him off. I gotta assume it was more related to not being fully healthy.

At the very least, he’s a solid depth piece. I hope we resign him as long as it’s a reasonable deal.

He’s an example of a guy who has upped his level of play this year. I like to think that Staley and his staff deserve some of that credit.

You’re changing your original post that said this was the most complete roster. It really isn’t that close. Yes those other teams lost and that’s the pain of being a Charger fan.

Didn’t see Murray make one play. How about trying him out as RB? Apparently Denver’s beast of a RB Williams was a LB before giving RB a shot.

He couldn’t be any worse than the role he’s currently failing at.
