When the dust settles this time it's going to be the same. Who's next on TT's and Staley's big board.

    RT
    DT
    WR
    CB

So with that in mind I am going to refuse to get emotionally attached to one prospect. ::thinking::thinking::thinking: Let the cards fall where they may...
    Sensible chap.

Smart. TT will break your heart every time.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
      The Wasted Decade is done.

        MUST develop.

I am comparing to the days of Feeney, Lamp, Tevi, and a few other names I choose to not remember

For the Chargers level on the OLine - this is good depth

I get what you are saying - it can be better

If there are that many options - meaning RT, CB, WR, IDL - could be a good time to trade back, get more darts for the dartboard (I think Telesco needs more chances, not less). All depends on the talent at 17 - if there is a top 12 player on your board - take the player. But if there are a lot of in that 18-mid 20's range - might be wiser, if hte opportunity is there

Kelley is BIP - cut him with extreme prejudice
Palmer will be a reliable 2/3 WR for years - solid pick
McCat remains an enigma - is he an inline blocker with slight receiving skills or does he become more
              - likely future is a good roster backup but over-drafted in R3.2?
Rumph - still not sold, he needs to add a lot of strength to be anything - 2022 will reveal his future. Poss late bloomer.

I don't have access to ESPN Insider but reading Twitter, in an article - Jeremy Fowler suggests the Chargers would be interesting in Charvarius Ward - from the Chiefs. Spotrac has his AAV at 9.9m (by comparison, JC Jackson is at 20m).

I think the Chargers are going to let Kyzir White test the FA market and spend bigger money on CB than White.

Williams by all reports will be franchised . What happens with Nwosu and Justin Jones before March 14/16?

Today - my predictions in free agency
Bringing back Williams Nwosu and Jones

Signing: SDL, Austin Johnson, or another IDL; a CB like Ward and Chase Edmonds

Not so sure about Kelley...the others though, I think have more upside...

                    dmac/TC.
Like you, I am not particularly optimistic.
We NEED these mid rounders to develop.

All have shown promise except Kelly. Easy cut or send to the PS for me.

Pro Football Network's Aaron Wilson reports free agent LB Uchenna Nwosu is asking for a contract in the $10-13 million range.

The Colts, Packers, Buffalo and the Jets have all expressed interest in Nwosu, who could still re-sign with the Chargers. Nwosu, 25, had a career high five sacks and eight TFLs as a first-timer starter in 2021 and may ultimately have to settle for a deal in the $7-9 million range. There's a chance Nwosu needs offseason surgery after playing through a torn labrum, but it's not expected to impact his free agent market.

USA Today's Tyler Dragon reports the Chargers "are prepared to franchise tag" Mike Williams.

The sides have until the March 8 franchise tag deadline to reach a long-term deal. Tagging Williams would cost $19 million and could prove the better route for an up-and-down player with a history of playing through injuries. The tag also buys time towards an extension that would lower the Chargers' cap hit. Williams, 27, set career highs across the board in his first year under Brandon Staley and is expected to return opposite Keenan Allen.
