Really hoping Oday Aboushi returns healthy, and draft OG 5th/6th round depth (Spencer Bruford, UTSA).

its not my money - but overpay him a little in terms of signing bonus and on paper to get it done. easily can wait for free agency to see the numbers

a lot of rumors out there about JC Jackson

Slater, Feiler, Linsley, Aboushi, Rookie RT
Q'berry, Jaimes, Schofield, Pipkins, like you said, later round draft pick and Norton

That is much better depth for the OL

Thats why I am leaning more towards CB and IDL in free agency. Might have to let Kyzir White to get CB. And I am good with that

Yeah, they only have til the 8th I think to tag him or not and likely why that talk is going on for more time for an extension. I read they want to keep him "whatever it takes" so we'll see.

I'd love to have JC Jackson but not holding my breath in that. I'd be pleasantly surprised though.

LAC will not be leaking any real information during negotiations,
            most especially to Bleacher Report.

BR is guessing and going for clicks.

Of course the notion of using the F-tag is a bit of leverage in getting a long term deal done.

As Andrew Brandt has wisely stated,
deadlines create last minute urgency to finalize a long term solution.

It really is wait n see.

He had a problem anchoring at the senior bowl.
              Room to wonder.
TT seems to favor guys that do well at the senior bowl.

I haven't seen anything from the BR. One was pro football talk but seen multiples.

Maybe it was a different "reliable source"
                  and BR was quoting.

My guess is that MW wants to stay and that is cool.

He does. He said he doesn't like change and has long friendships here and hopes to stay but time may limit and force a franchise tag. Just gives them more time.

I think Herbert gives the organization a bit of leverage to play a little hardball when it comes to paying skill guys, and I hope we exert some with MW because it's our first real chance to gain an advantage in asset management.
I hope we insist on a team-friendly long term deal basically.
It's an absolute privilege to be one of Herbert's core weapons at this stage of his career and all our WRs should understand that.
very few places will you get both paid your absolute worth AND have a stud like JH
Do you really want to break the bank with the NYJ?
maybe, but if so, we'll be fine, maybe a slightly older more wiser veteran like Cooper could appreciate having number 10

Just saying, team-friendly, or tag and develop youngins
                      G-Ro knows.

There’s a few day 3 athletic but not yet ready to play OTs that I’d like to get and train up too. We need to start developing these late round, cheaper OL for the future.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Love depth in this draft OL. That’s recipe I would subscribe to. Chargers we’re very misfortunate to lose Aboushi early (no injury history before) Bulaga more predictable but half of one game, please no more grasping for band-aids. Could live with Penning #17 for sure but difficult to grade as BPA. Checking out this Defensive line class shortly….
