Good, quality content.
Why I like several DBs at #17.
Does anyone want to overdraft Pitre ?
He's good.
I like Pitre, but prefer Dax or Cine. A little bigger, faster and better tacklers. Although Pitre has better recognition skills. I need to look at Brisker a little more too.
-Love George Karlaftis....but he just doesnt seem like a scheme fit...right? But then again, did Bosa look like a 3-4 OLB coming out? Wait a minute...what defense do we play again?
-As far as more scheme-friendly edge prospects, Boye Mafe has my attention...I like him more than Ojabo....he seems to get forgotten in this deep upper tier edge class.
Lot of folks think if we don't get a blockbuster deal, we should stay put, rather than lose out on points to trade back. I care nothing for points or perceived value in a trade. All I know is if the player Staley wants can be had at the end of the first or early second, trade the hell back and get whatever you can...the end result being you get your guy. This especially applies if we are looking hard at safeties and RBs this year....
I'm just glad people read it. It was a good presentation with pictures, stats & facts that spoke to a major issue.
I remember them thinking in preseason that Chris Harris and his flexibility were going to be an important cog in Staley's defense.
Turns out that not being good against the run or pass defeated the original purpose.

I've seen several mock drafts with Boye Mafe going in the first round.
I'd include him in the tier 2 grop of edge rushers: Ebekitie, Mafe, Karlaftis & an injured Ojabo.
All will be gone by early - mid round 2.
The Aztec guy seems to have fallen from discussion.

M. Turner was the best RB2 the Chargers had.
Can we try to get something like that ?
I really don't have an argument against this because I loved me some Burner, but what about Darren Sproles? Can you believe that at one time the Chargers roster boasted LT, Michael Turner and Darren Sproles?
