:coffee:
I expect at least top 10 and wouldn't consider Staley a rousing success until we allow an avg of less than 20 ppg - which should be in top 5-6 range.
Slightly better than avg (16) should happen with nothing more than good health and a 2nd yr in Staley's system.
We're not going to get Donald or Suh but some next tier quality DTs will be out there.
TT bagged top C Linsley, LT Slater in FA/Draft last year. Get DT in 2022. Trenches rule!

Also playing good D tends to prevent pass rushers from teeing off on our OL,
in that we are not playing from behind,
and can use the full play book.
We should want MW, but at a decent price. We do not play modern football.

All 4 had at least 5 games against some combo of (Jags, Jets, Giants, Dolphins, Falcons, Texans)
one key to good defense is playing shitty offenses. Particularly the Jags this year.
2 defenses had less than 20 ppg in 2020.

Teams that block kicks just do not lose, statistically speaking.
SF blocked two kicks.
They held ARod off the scoreboard.
It was fated. We do not play modern football.

And I don't feel like having a newby OC come in unless its somebody like JIm caldwell who has been there. I mean, who on the staff would move up and that would be growing pains. Maybe Lombo's growing pains in Detroit helped him with this team
