One thing about MW for 14m - thats the cap hit - not the AAV.

$55 million in re-signing our own FA's. These values are assigned by OverTheCap.com.
$10 million to sign draft class.
$15 million of cap space room to sign FA's during the season.

And you're about out of money.
Long was #32 in the NFL, dead last in net yards last year, and you want to resign him?

I personally do not. There are better options than Long

I think today it will be Araiza or the Georgia punter

Throw in a raise for Ekeler.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I have very little experience in dealing with RFAs, as must simply don't outplay their 1st contract
as clearly as Johnson had. I think your offer is fair.

Does that include the $10M carry over from this year?

Anyway, those are AAV numbers not cap hits. I agree we don't have as much space as we think, though.

The only guy worth keeping after aboushi on your list is Parham if he wants to keep playing

I can't imagine paying MW $20 million. If so, I'd probably spend that money elsewhere (CB?) And then draft a WR in the 1st... rather than a CB.

Free agent is fine, too. I had to fill the spot... and have neither the time nor the interest in researching punters. :Cheers1:

Popper seems convinced that the team will tag MW. I can’t fathom why. We know what kind of a player he is - either let him walk or sign him long term.

Mike Williams contract and salary cap details, including signing bonus, guaranteed salary, dead money, roster bonuses, and contract history

The blue line graph is a tracking of his actual production value for last year. Click on the "valuation" tab. Structure it any strange way you'd like (front load/back load)... but they say his average value play was @$12.5 million.
