I’m with Popper on this. We got steadily better as the season progressed especially after getting Roberts and Hopkins. Would have made more sense to fire Hill instead of Swinton

Definitely a lateral move.
Swinton was not an issue. Once Telesco went out and got a legitimate returner( for the first time in 9 years, mind you) and kicker( again, first time in 9 years), things were okay. And for us, as Charger fans, to say that Teams were okay, is a testament to just how much they improved from 9 years of putrid play.
Now, if they want to move on from Hill as well, I'd not be opposed. Scheme is one thing but fielding a group that collectively was HORRIBLE at tackling, D coordinator has got to take it in the teeth! No excuse for professional defenders missing so many bloody tackles! Unacceptable!
