Sorry i had to clean this up. This thread is very spiritual for me. So dogging someone who isnt even here to defend himself just feels "NOT OF GOD" to me.

Lets not go with anti cmb or non tpb member slamming here please. It gives this thread a dark vibe and im not cool with that.

The "Blessed Roo Jersey"

I kind of want to do a thing where i send this jersey to a member who is attending a game. They wear it to the game....take pics etc. Then pass it on to the next TPB member to do the same thing. Ill cover the flat rate shipping everytime it gets shipped. Try to get it worn at every home game. I think flat rate still gets it to a member within 5 days on the mainland.

Something to think about. May be a good luck thing for us.

Nice of you to do this, Fleet. Maybe each member who wears it can sign it? Either with screen name or real name? Then, present the signed jersey with all 17+ or so sigs to Roo at the end of the season...

I'm looking at these ticket prices and I can't realistically see me (plus 1) going. Can't justify it.

With all due respect, I am having a very hard time believing in God. Our daughter was just diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, in her upper lung, lower back, throat and hip. She is a nonsmoker, 36 years old, married for 3 years and has a two year old son. Why??? she is so kind, considerate, smart, gives back to others that have needs, constantly. I just have a very very hard time believing in God at this point in my life. There is nothing I can do to help but be supportive. I wish i could trade places with her. If there was a god, he/she should take me now, instead of her.

All my best wishes to you, your family and your daughter. 20 years ago, to the day, my dad was going though his final trial, and we felt totally helpless.
