I know from a market perspective it seems we got a deal here but I hate spending big money on corners. I know we have to and when added to everything else it makes sense it just irks me. That said I welcome JC to the Chargers and love what this will do for Asante who I really like.
Staley input very obvious we want moar.

Now, I’m not at all confident in Telesco’s O line draft skills for obvious reasons (only 1 out of like 29 selections were not busts) but I’m hoping he can go for two for two with back to back good OL selections after picking Slater last draft.

Telesco / Staley & co have had 1 draft together. Their OL picks were Slater and Jaimes. Their FA OL choices were Linsley, Feiler and Aboushi.
If he does the same with free agency and the draft this year - Chargers will be much improved.
