Superstars draw fans. JH is a budding superstar. You will see way more fans this year. Just hoping we can get enough to lessen the opposing fans. Really embarrassing at times. :couch:

There are a large population of "ignorant" fans. We want to see our team on the field. Talent, heart, effort, coaching, etc. Great games vs great opponents with a majority of wins and the prospect of winning a SB meet most of my fan needs. A Lombardi would be warmly received. The next game is number 1 on my list. The video was nice.

and of course when you have marketable players and experience you don’t wait till you make the playoffs to start trying tell people to watch and come to games.

winning actually doesn’t matter as much as you think, winning would not have kept the team in San Diego for instance, it was the reality of the Public over all attitude toward contributing public money to subsidize the NFL in the region. It was the opinion of non fans that got the team to move. Non fans don’t care if the team wins.
the marketing got plenty of non fans interested in football and the chargers and you looked you would see many many posts on the videos thread of people declarining it turned them in to Chargers fans.
you can win the Super Bowl and have to fold as a franchise the next season.
winning is all that matters to you in your very narrow idea of fandom. But getting upset at non football team employees doing a good job is dumb and not understanding the team needs to market themselves is ridiculous for anyone over 8 years old.

Brand new and younger LAC fans.
The reticence is way off base IMHO.

I’m not into anime so i skipped to the last page so my browser wouldn’t show this thread as a new one i need to read. I hope it goes away soon. anime bores me and any posts unrelated to anime that are actually football can go to a different thread.
We had 4 different versions of roster+draft+FA, all 4 talking about the exact same things, after all.
hope this one dies painfully and quickly.

Here all along I thought the NFL was a business.
Not even sure what I'm doing on this forum if I'm not helping the Chargers win.
Why am I using up all this energy and resources?
If only I could do something useful.
Marketing is keeping this team from a championship.
I don't understand anime or marketing of any kind
so it's obviously a waste of time.
I'm old. Everything sucks.
