2022 Training Camp Thread

Everyone is expecting the Chargers to come out and be world beaters this year, I do too! The time has come now for the Chargers once and for all to be 1 of the Elite teams in the league!

Because it will be very embarrassing to come out this year and get beat by the Raiders on opening day, and then the Chiefs all because we can't stop the run, or our Oline can't block and Herbert has to rush all his throws because he is not getting dominating oline play!

If we lose to Turds and Chefs it'll be on Staley's Chargers. We built OL and DL. If the team doesn't come together and execute a winning plan in all three phases? I'll be shocked frankly.
Let's watch the games and critique or praise the reality.

From camp reports, seems the extra practice is warranted.

You're right. They need to get the percentage of successful plays higher on O. Of course the D is practicing the same plays and they need to be successful too.

We know we're a very good offense. Apparently the D is up to the challenge. That's kinda awesome!

If our rebuilt D is successful against the league's top 5 Offense, we have a VERY good D. This just could be the year we've all been longing for!

Yep, a pro level push off was in there too. Note he didn’t extend his arms. More of a feel for the DB’s location.

But a beautiful pass that Palmer adjusted too and caught at absolute full speed. I don’t know if any db stops that.

I would make that deal because it’s low risk, giving up what will be a low 6th rounder for a guy that had a legit mid first round grade prior to back issues just 18months ago. He’s only 24 and the bears have already paid the bulk of his rookie deal. If he’s a problem you bounce him quick or you get a great value at a position of need for the next three years. It’s worth noting that he comes from a zone blocking scheme in college but it should be noted that his pass protection was also the weakest part of his game.

I agree. It's worth the risk. If.it doesn't oan out we just cut ties for cheap
