I get why the social media team did that, and it wasn't to dis the Padres, or San Diego. No matter what they do with marketing, they have to be consistent winners of championships to be relevant in a very very big pond, I just wish that they would be as mindful about legacy fans, but those who stayed after the move aren't as big a concern for retention as getting generational new fans.

Oh, Go Pads.. a win tonight would be epic.

We OGs are the absolute, most deserving NFL of a championship imo.
Not only because of the shit we went through, but continued lack of appreciation, hell, even acknowledgement by management is insult to injury.
Yet here we are, small but mighty and proud on this large but empty ship (not the Titanic)
Football values exemplified, never better than TPB.

Do they still sell the swinging friar baseball caps? I wore mine to my softball game yesterday and nobody knew it was a Padres cap, including my one teammate who is a Dodgers fan and wore his Dodgers cap. I don't remember exactly when I bought the cap - decades ago - but it's probably older than half of my teammates.

I was at the Sunday game 5 when Tony's DP grounder to Sandberg bounced up and almost took his head off. It got through to right field and Wiggins trucked on to 3rd. EPIC!!!!!

I am hoping against the bought and paid for machine tonight. Go Pads.....get win #2!!!!

One thing I've never been able to figure out from that era, Kurt Bevacqua had an early season batting average or 1.001, how is that possible? I saw it several times.
