Legally it is not a sport, it is an entertainment. I believe it is rigged cuz I’ve seen officials on the field make obviously, obviously wrong calls that impact outcomes. If I hadn’t, I’d believe it was all legit even as an entertainment. It’s the WWF of professional sports.

Are there mistakes made? Of course, we see it all the time. Do teams cheat? Yep. Could there be an occasional player on the take who would throw a game for a gambler? Sure. Do I think there is some nefarious "we will overturn the Mahomes interception 'cause we don't want the Chiefs to lose in prime time stuff going on from the league?" No way, there is zero chance of keeping some conspiracy like that quiet, especially in this day and age.

Of course it is. But since I never know which way which way it’s rigged (Brady/Cheatriots notwithstanding), I can continue to enjoy it for entertainment value purposes.

Can you compromise one or two guys? Yes. And with a team in Vegas that becomes more likely I would guess. The CCNY basketball team shaved points in 51 or so too. It’s not impossible.

Anyone notice how weirdly quiet it was in arrowhead when KC essentially had the game in hand?
At the risk of hyperbole, I got the sense that KC fans were watching Herbert in awe, almost conflicted as opposition but immensely respectable showing, with a hint of fear and they watched this utter machine of a man, coming back, snap after snap
like something out of a Rocky movie.

Not unlike @ Las Vegas week 18 2021.

I'd imagine myself with this reaction if I ever saw any AFCW opposing QB play the way Herbert has.
