Since starting 4-1 last season, Staley's Chargers are 6-9. Staley is 2-5 in has last 7 games. Justin Herbert's career record is 16-18.
I'm not giving up on Staley yet, but if I were Dean Spanos I'd open a dialogue with Sean Payton's agent.

Different sport but an all time great HC named PHIL JACKSON who has won championships and installed an actual winning culture disagrees. He says:

Our worst losses last year were to Old School veteran coaches who know how to run the ball and take away what you do best.....

I just don't get why Telesco wasn't better prepared at Edge and OT depth!
Mack didn't do anything to speak of today and he is a player. We just got whopped. Agree on Norton.

Sky is the limit for that kid. Be nice to see them come out of nowhere and take that division.

but unfortunately will never happen with Spanos.
I hope they at least begin to "talk" with SP.
If we fire Staley now, you have to keep Hill. You can't just have a completely new defense in the midst of a season. And then after the season,.... after transitioning to this defense, we switch it up to another? Unless Payton is friends with Fangio.
