This is on Staley...what is he thinking?

This has been very confusing to me as well. I don't need the stats, the eye test tells the story. Michel has been slow, stiff and hesitant on many of his runs while Kelley has looked strong, quick and running hard with some passion. I am not necessarily a big fan of Kelley but it is obvious he is the better back right now. Just weird...

Maybe Staley is hoping that by giving Sony more reps, he'll regain the form he had last year with the Rams...maybe he thinks he needs reps to learn our offense and blocking schemes...I still say give Kelley double the reps Sony gets, then if Sony improves, increase his reps slowly...

I wouldn't go that far but you have a point.
I believe the coaches have their reasons but agree that those reasons are hard to figger.
        Give Kelley more carries.

The defense would never suspect to game plan for Stick.

It wouldn't work. Whether it's Herbie or Stick, Lombo will still dial up the same plays...

This vid is not about the stated topic, but it is a preview of the Chargers @ Browns. Baldinger has praise for Salyer, Palmer apparently has an ankle, not looking good for Keenan, but Parham is on track to play. Myles Garrett is slated to play, but Clowney is still questionable.

Herbert leads the league in passing yardage.

That's because Lombardi keeps dialing up plays the Topcat & Chain don't like.

                        lol....
more like because we cannot run and our defense is not great..... giving up 27 PPG..... so we have to throw (and score) just to stay in game..... we have given up most points in AFCW...

Topcat and CandyCrusher know what we still can’t see - if Lombo didn’t call plays to run backwards, tie the receivers shoes together for laughs, and force Herbie to throw left handed, Herbie would have 3x the pass production as the rest of the league and we would be averaging 87.6 ppg.

the way Lombo has held him back is not just obvious, its criminal.
