I respect your opinion but the numbers don’t agree. If anything it should make us excited because we’re innovators in the nfl using new techniques. I think teams are going to start imitating us and it’s often not always easy being a trail blazer but the rewards can be awesome.

No coach in history or the future will emulate that stupid 4th down call. Browns lost that game and gifted Chargers with a win.

I do not mind looking at the numbers, but the players involved matter as well. Brissett is a lesser QB and CLE's bread and butter is running the ball. Defensively, we are tooled as pass defense oriented team. I would have been fine making Brissett drive the Browns 60 yards with his arm and no ground game with only a minute or so to go.

Sometimes you gamble and it works and you're a genius, sometimes it fails and you look like a fool. I wouldn't have chosen that situation to gamble, but I'm not going to excoriate someone for putting faith in Herbert. Even injured Herbert.
