And no coach has ever won a Super Bowl with two different teams - think on that Payton fans!

New Orlean's system under Brees was not predicated on speed at wide out, but on precision route running.
Michael Thomas and Marques Colston, their top wideouts during the Brees era, were big 'slow' guys

Staley wanted this to be a line of scrimmage team: a l.o.s. team that can't run the football
Only their top WR were the possession types.

When Brees won the Superbowl, there was speed on that roster even though the top WR Colston was a 4.5 40 which is avg for a WR.The next 4 targets all had speed.
          Henderson-WR 4.3
          Shockey-TE 4.5
          Bush-RB 4.3
          Meachum-WR 4.3
They kept these speed players and added Sproles. Even though they never won the SB again. They were not a slow offensive roster even with their top WR being a possession type with avg speed.
Chargers are not a speedy roster like the SB winning Brees led Saints team were who easily had multiple 4.3 players on the field on offense at the same time.

Who has it better than us?

Steichen is too busy running a pretty nice offense for the Eagles. Of course he's no Lombardi, but he's doing his best.

If the Eagles' offense continues to perform at a high level and carries the team deep into the post season, Steichen will be a hot HC candidate in 2023.

And the chargers have never been successful with a HC who hadn’t been a successful HC before. Think on that Staley apologists

Haha, yeah I’ll take that chance. I’d rather have a full season of entertaining competitive games than getting crushed at home by mid level or worse teams.
