According to Popper and Miller, he was cut after pouting about not being named started last week after Johnson got hurt and blew off practice for two days and got into it with several teammates. Good riddance.

So it's going to be like after 2016 season and he's going to tear it up for the next five years? What I am saying is going forward we don't know how he's going to respond this year and next year and after 30 injury recovery times become longer. My guess is that he knows he will be the odd man out after next season when Herbert gets his payday.

We don't know how long it will take him to recover, but that doesn't mean he is in serious decline - it just means he was hurt bad.
