the bolt fans don't quite get the whole "make noise when our defense forces a 3rd down" thing. however, the oculus operator should be encouraging people more - a little nudge.
Yep, it's really hit and miss on the 3rd down noise, but on a few occasions the Bolt fans were quite noisy. It is a lot harder when your "home" crowd is a 50/50 mix. I always have a sore throat on Monday so I do my bit for the team.
(I am a Chargers fan since Dan Fouts...) Is Herbert the most physically gift QB that we have?
Go Bolts!!!
Does Herbert have the most physical talent/ability of any Charger QB ever? Absolutely and its not close enough to even debate a possible contender. I’ve seen them all since Hadl.
he is also the best looking QB in franchise history
I just watched the post game vid. Herbie was the "Jesus of cool" with that locker room spike. That was freaking awesome. Nice of Staley to give the D a team ball too. Also I was struck by how humble Herbie was when he was singled out by coach. He truly is a consummate professional. Nice to see in today's age of the ultra ego.
LOL
From now on, I'll always think of him as "J.C. Herb".

If you mean "the most physically gifted QB the Chargers have ever had", then yes.
We'll never know what a mentally healthy Ryan Leaf might have been able to do with his considerable physical gifts. Fouts and Rivers were mental giants, but neither was mobile.
But Herb has the prototypic QB build, an arm second to nobody, is highly athletic, and as mobile as you could possibly hope a guy of his size could be.
So, no. The Bolts have never had a more physically gifted QB than Herbert, and it's increasingly obvious that he possesses top shelf smarts and competitiveness. He's a highly mobile Dan Marino.
I thought he was very good last night, except on the Chargers' first red zone possession, when they turned it over on downs after not throwing a pass into the end zone.
If the timing was right and Herbert hits Carter in stride, that’s a TD.
That was the comment that got me up out of my BarcaLounger. #fightingwords tharrr.
LOL! Guilty as charged!
Context.
It was part of a string of sarcasm aimed at the Debbie Downers but I enjoyed seeing some positive support for a Charger.
