The forums that did this do not exist or are crippled & I can't remember which one did the study (UT, CMB or Bolttalk ?)Originally posted by charger1_sj View Post
I'm not from Missouri, but show me the data. In particular this team has not played enough games in cold weather. Doesn't mean we won't play well, we just don't know.
Anyway this info can be Googled as well
Here is a list of the 5 WORST Cold weather teams (2011 study)
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-weather-teams
Best & Worst COLD Performers (study done 11-18-22)
It's about the time in the NFL season when winter weather really starts to become a factor in terms of wins and losses. The cold weather not only affects regular season games but, over the years, it seems to have adversely affected playoff outcomes as well.
The info is out there guys. The last link would corroborate what I said. We are not in the WORST category.
And common sense would tell you the BROWNS would be a great cold weather team right with an open air stadium ? They are in the BOTTOM 5 for WORST teams playing in the COLD
I hope this helps

Metro Detroit area usually isn’t that cold in winter - its usually in the 10’s and 20’s most winter days. Occasional arctic express thing, but those were rare. Yeah, some guys put on shorts if its over 20, lol not me. Not a lot of snow on that side of the State either, no snow effect like W MI or W NY (buffalo). South Dakota, MN and WI were always 10 or more degrees colder every day of winter.Originally posted by jamrock View Post
No it wasn't snowing during the freezer bowl. Just wind chill of 59 below. Ridiculous. They shouldn't have played that game.
Michigan man, I had to be there in February one year and it was 9 below when I landed. Walking from the airport to the Uber my face actually hurt. Next day it was 25 degrees and people were wearing shorts.
I once went to Buffalo and it snowed 3 feet in less than an hour. Oh, so THATS the lake effect. Detroit usually snowed closer to 3 - 4 inches in 24 hours and still Detroit city would shut down for over a week. Suburbs would be cleared by the next morning. Buffalo just runs their snow plows non stop, never shut down at all. Pro tip - don’t pass the snow plow truck to the right.Justin Herbert 2026 MVP Watch

The Chargers played in Denver in January of 2014. The wind was a big factor, blowing from sideline to sideline, across the football field.Originally posted by charger1_sj View Post
When did we last play KC or Denver in the PO in Jan? Yes we do play KC and Den during the regular season. But from Sept-Nov it is not cold. It's late Dec and then Jan
where the cold can set in. How many times have we played Den in the snow? KC? We simply do not know how this team will react in cold weather. And no we have no
real history of playing in cold weather. Not sure what *****et is talking about. We have played well in the Mid-West and East Coast in the early games, but that doesn't
qualify as cold weather.
Temperatures were okay.
Keenan Allen is the only one from that team still here.

That was the one where flabby armed Payton beat us. It was a bit windy but correct not that cold. Certainly no snow on the ground.Originally posted by powderblueboy View Post

Browns QB Brian Sipe out of SDSU is crying his 57-55 record gets no love.Originally posted by charger1_sj View Post

Before your time maybe ?
The Browns had Marty Schottenheimer whose Browns team choked in the playoffs. Sad story and who we adopted as a coach later in his career.
RB Jim Brown from the Cleveland Browns would like to have a talk with you as well. You heard of him right ?
The Browns were not always shitty.

Remember how this ALL started was when opposing fans came into our forums to say our team is dogshit in COLD weather. You ONLY have historical data to prove them wrong.Originally posted by charger1_sj View Post

We've been announced for 1:25 PT. Schefter just tweeted that Bengals/Ravens will depend on the game tonight. If the Bills win tonight, Bengals/Ravens will also be at 1:25pm. If the Bengals win tonight and clinch the division Bengals/Ravens will be at 10am.Originally posted by Bolt-O View Post
Probably right after MNF. They probably have two different lineups depending on the outcome of that game.
