Last year Spanos was willing to invest in premium free agents. I hopeful that his attitude has changed and he is now willing to invest in premium coaches.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    The Wasted Decade is done.

That's within the cap. He always spends the cap limit.

        Coaches are another expense altogether.

In 1978, the San Diego Chargers dealt a third Round pick to St. Louis for HC Don Coryell. Late owner Gene Klein said it was the easiest decision I ever made.

A preliminary deal was reached with Cards Owner Bill Bidwell: the Chargers could hire Coryell at the end of the 1978 season in exchange for the team’s 1980 3rd–round draft pick.

IMHO, you can't let Telesco walk without cutting Staley. Telesco's contract is up. Whoever else comes in, they're going to want their guy.

Chargers last 3 HC decisions - Interviewed Andy Reid went with Mike McCoy, interviewed Sean McDermott went with Anthony Lynn, interviewed Brian Daboll went with Staley.

                  Does that sound about right?

Continues the consistent them of bad decisions by the Spanos…will they ever learn from their mistakes?

Colin has never heard my level of aggravation with John Spanos.

I think they just don't care enough to take pride in the product the field They were fine with bringing in a proven HC loser in Norv followed by 3 inexperienced characters as HC.

It's not so much a curse as it is the owners just being cheap. The bottom line is all that matters.
