I say two more. I'm glad Guyton is coming back because he has that speed this offense needs and he has a good connection with Herbert. Under Lombardi as OC, they seemed determined to carry only 5 WR and I think that was a mistake not having a viable 6th WR (after the top 5 there was just scrubs like Bandy) cost them when injuries started piling up. Keenan, Mike, Josh, Jalen, ?, ?

One if not two picks this draft
One by the end of Day 2
maybe another in Round 6 or 7

This signing should not stop Telesco from addressing the WR room.

        God i hope not

We still need high quality speed and YAC receiver.

Guyton is ok for a 4 or 5

Just for the record, I was joking when I lamented your “root for loss”. I knew you’d not really root for losing

My guess, this gives Telesco "the speed receiver" he needs , and Staley -- to draft Edge or CB in Round 1, possibly trade up in R1 or R2 and totally disregard WR until the end of Day 3

            Prove me wrong Telesco

Happy bout Guyton...familiar face, much needed depth and speed, cheap...doesnt change the draft much, cept we probably dont double dip at WR...but who knows.
              Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

I agree this does not preclude us from taking "speed wr" off the need-list but this DOES change the type of speed WR we need.
more specifically, this re-signing lets us come off of Hyatt specifically as that deep post threat and opens our options to guys with more route-experience.

                Huge deal imo

as you long as you mean a fast guy with the ability to get yards after the catch

the chargers have enough station to station WRs...

Liar’s Month. We draft a WR (likely Flowers) @ 21, Guyton gets cut in TC by design.

Yes that is definitely what's missing most and becoming harder to find at the NFL. I think defenses are getting faster in general and corralling the ball carrier is every defenses emphasis.
Gotta be more than straightline fast.

I am hoping this year will be different. It was encouraging at the GM meetings to hear Staley talk about the NFL being an offence league and the need to score lots of points. I think he gets it that the AFC is an arms race and no defense will stop the top QBs and top offences so they have to fully equip Herbert to hang with Mahomes and the boys
