I think he’s one of the guys Mack is alluding to that doesn’t put in the work. And he’s a so called leader of the team. Is he a victim of Staley or a guy who got paid and is coasting. Thats my question. We know how he can play and he just isn’t showing it on the field

This does not surprise me. Just using the eyeball test, he was F-ing awful yesterday. By far the worst game I have seen from him and there have been some real lunkers lately. How is it that the "leader" of the defense looks lost and confused, like he doesn't know what he's supposed to be doing? Ugh...this terrible season can't end soon enough.

He has regressed horribly since I and many "endorsed" him. Very disappointed and concerned about him in particular. I'd like to say that Staley's confusing and disjointed design and implementation has caused ever increasing disillusionment and demotivation.

The cap hit for trading him is only an additional 1.5m of dead so if they trade him - so be it
My guess, a better DC would get him back straight

that missed tackle on 3rd down which led to a 1st down coversion showed me Derwin is not elite.

I was at the game yesterday (Broncos). He seemed incredibly complacent. That missed tackle on 3rd down late in game was aweful. Earlier in the game he was lucky Judy dropped a long pass. It happened right in front of me, no idea what he was doing but he want coercing Judy that’s for sure.
