I like this history lesson!

One more Steeler story because this still blows my mind: Rocky Bleier was drafted in the NFL/AFL draft in April in 1968 out of Notre Dame, by the Steelers, then Rocky was drafted again by the U.S. government in December of '68, went to Vietnam, then returned to the Steelers. A reporter asked Rocky if Coach Noll and he ever had conservations about Vietnam.

Rocky bristled and replied: Coach Noll and I never had a conversation.

Well we don’t have a real HC but we do have a rebuilt OL. I don’t know if you remember but the OL in 2002/3 wasn’t loaded and I think he turned it completely over during his tenure. But it certainly speaks to the value of coaching

I think everyone knows OL is a big deal. Rivers biggest problem in most of his career was OL. His biggest asset was TE Gates. Kudos to Staley/ TT for signing Linsley and drafting three rookie OL starters, TT for Pipkins. Time for a star TE.

I'd still take Bijan in the 1st - if he's there . . . . . . get the best TE you can in round 2 - it's a deep class

I'd take Bijan also. Not for need but because he's a generational talent. At 54, If Kincaid (receiver), Washington ( blocker), Mayer (both) are gone it's open season. I'd go BPA WR, TE, Edge, IDL, DB.
