What I really like about Kellen Moore is this is as close as we could get to Sean Payton as being our head coach. Having an offensive minded guy. Who’s smart who’s gonna wanna work with our Quarterback and will push our Quarterback. You feel like this guy knows the game. So i feel like we’ll be prepared.
so everybody who was like they want Stayley fired. We got a new guy we got a new head coach. Kellen Moore is not coming here for one season Kellen Moore will be here for Justin Herbert’s career. 10 seasons. Kellen Moore will be here for 10 seasons.

Moore was rumored to be a HC candidate the year staley got hired, this might be a way for them to self-correct the staley hire, especially if there were people in the building that wanted an offensive minded coach and moore in particular to work with herbert, plus now we know there is a connection to herbert with moore? IDK, but with lame duck staley having his people fired, I don’t think staley is in any position to dictate whom they hire, the guy knows (along with most of the country) that he should’ve been fired after that jacksonville implosion…
staley has had 2 years.

Babe and Dannny Kanell are in.
Thomas "Bert" Moore, Kellen's grandfather, had already been a basketball coaching legend in the South Suburbs of Chicago, from 1950-1960 at Chicago Heights (Ill.) Bloom Township High School, where he also taught classes.
But then most probably do not know Kellen Moore has been preparing for this since he was a kid. And just maybe there is something to those genes he's inherited, going all the way back to granddad Bert, a three-sport star and highly successful high school basketball coach, and through his father Tom, a junior-college quarterback himself and highly successful prep football coach.
Saw where back in December of 2010 a story in the Idaho Statesman with Kellen Moore on his way to the Heisman Trophy ceremony quoting Kellen talking about his family's coaching background.
"They were clones, that's the thing," he said of his dad and dad's dad. "Especially now that your dad gets old and you start to recognize a lot of the traits, the white hair.
"And you know you're going right down that same trail."
How prescient now some eight years later, an extensive coaching trail at that, stretching from Chicago Heights in the '50s, to Prosser over the three decades of the '80s, '90s and aughts, to now early 2019 right here at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
Kellen, just maybe another chip off the old block.
