Whats wrong with him wanting more money - he has a limited time to play football

I jsut want the best draft picks possible: Bengals, Commanders, Bears

I wouldn't mind getting two picks even if the second pick is a 2024 pick

If we can get a 3rd, done as far as I'm concerned.

McCaffrey brought 2 picks. One a 2nd and I think Ekeler is a similar player and is stronger than McCaffrey.

I like Ekeler but if we can draft Bijan, it's all good. Could draft 2 but I'm all for giving Spiller his shot. Still not high on Kelly is why I say draft two.
11 Brock Bowers TE - Georgia (plus AZ 2025 1st)
35 Kris Jenkins DT - Michigan
37 Cooper Beebe OG -Kansas st
66 Mike Sainristil CB - Michigan
69 Jaylen Wright RB - Tenn or Blake Corum - Michigan
            100 Brenden Rice WR - USC (trade ⬆️w/ Wash for 2025 5th)
            110 Cedric Gray LB - N. Carolina
140 Hunter Nourzad OC -Penn st
181 Jarrian Jones CB - Florida st
225 Cedrick Johnson Edge - Ol' Miss ➡️ 253 Fabien Lovett DT-FL st

OTOH, if we trade Ekeler, do we trust Telesco to not give up whatever we get, and more, to move up in the draft for a running back, like he did for Melvin Gordon? How did that work out?

I don't think many running backs should be drafted in the first round, and rarely if ever making a trade-up to do so.

Now if Bijan falls to 21, maybe, depending on who else is or isn't there. But this is a draft where there are a lot of good running back options. Let the draft come to you, don't go chasing.

I wouldn't mind draft picks either, and it would help our cap situation, but he's been so solid, such a good player in many ways - it's hard to lose guys like that. It better be at least for a 3rd, preferably something like a 3 and a 5.

This is testing my desire to not post the word fuck.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Ekeler has a good head for business. He wants to win, they all do. But he also is CEO of Ekeler and will take the best financial deal he can. I don’t blame him a bit.

If ekeler ends up getting dealt it will create a deficit in draft capital, nobody will give us what he’s worth to the team and what it would cost in draft capital to replace him…but since it sounds like so many here want to get a RB in the draft then all this news must be music to your guy’s ears…to me this is a huge bummer…nobody in this draft is going to replace his production, nobody…

I hope he gets paid, he’s earned it, and he sees the writing on the wall with other backs around the league, so no disappointment here, just a lot of gratitude for the amazing plays he has gifted all of us for years and years at discount rates…

                          Keep and pay Ekeler.
                          Draft Bijan.
                          Sign Dalton Schultz.
Trade Bosa and his inflated salary. (Give away draft picks if necessary, like the Rams did with Goff.)
                          Sign Leonard Floyd.
