1 year as a coordinator: what happens when teams figure out what he's doing?
Seems like shades of Staley.
Positive: Unlike Staley, has been with two teams for 5 years stints.
Big negative: hasn't really had head coaches to learn under.

The Spanos will hire the anti-Staley next time, and they will be wrong again.
Someone with loads of experience carrying water for a highly successful hands on head coach, but hasn't really proven himself.
Someone like Lombo ..... who i'm sure they would have hired as head coach if things aligned.
The anti-Telesco is not a yes man - so rule that out.Last edited by NOrvMeNow; 10-21-2023, 08:00 PM.

Sean McVay was smart enough to have Wade Phillips on his staff when he was first starting out and I think it could help ease the growing pains of having a 1st time HC "growing," into the role.

Marty
Norv
compared to people like Al Saunders, Kevin Gilbride, McCoy, Lynn and now Staley
Not to mention, telesco is a bottom tier GM
