Gates just feels bad about costing us that game in 2005.
Gates feels bad AJ cost us that game in 2005. Stupid power play decision... *sigh*
Prediction: Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably. Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) . Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.
Gates didn't go out of his way to volunteer his opinion. He got questioned about his opinion by a bunch of reporters at training camp.
Isn't the standard answer already known? Business is business, and we'll see Bosa when he gets here - or something like that.

you can also add that in other years where there were rookie holdouts, the teammates (especially the leaders) were a lot more welcoming. You never heard Seau tell LT or Jammer, hey you need to man up and fucking sign already rookie.
I think Junior's line was, once the rookies are in they'll get picked on like any other new rookies, but once their on the team they're part of the family/team now.
It is. But thats beside the point. Gates should stay out of other people's business
It's not just Bosa's bussiness. He is holding out for what mounts to league minimum. If he gets cut before the end of the deal, that is what the offset amounts to. Either that or he is holding out for whatever the interest on the bonus being paid now is. Either way, it's small potatoes in the grand scheme of things.
Every day he holds out, the chances of him being a bust go up and up and up. You never get the missed time back. They won't rewind and he falls further and further behind.

And he gets paid the same and the Bolts lose production. So who loses the war?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
The Wasted Decade is done.
