Just get a better center! When the star align and the time shows you the way, take it. At least with the FA this year, players may want to play here as opposed to to past teams. We are maybe to phrase, a few players away…

Im saying goodbye to 13. If you’re wr4, you probably need to run special teams, he isn’t going to do that. Get a younger guy in there who will.

Couldn’t agree more! If you can sign Teller to a 2 year deal, you’re not cap strapped while you continue to build your OLine through the draft. Draft Bisontis for your long term LG and draft a RG next year to battle Teller or develop for when Teller leaves.

I would even take John Simpson or Zeitler for one year with a draft pick or the cheaper competition at the other OG. Risner, Penning, Cleveland and draft pick for the other OG. Though Teller and Linderbaum seems like a pretty damn good combo to target. Bisontis seems like a guy who probably will be gone by the time the Chargers pick again. Maybe he trades back in R1 to get ammunition to move back up in R2

That’s why I would trade back if possible and take Bisontis at the end of the 1st.

I do like the Simpson idea as well.

              Is Teller really the answer?

Do we have two book end OT's or two injury prone OT's?

The most important changes that will improve Justin’s protection is a faster offense and run game.

                  That’s why they hired McDaniel.

Did you see the three TE sets McVay used this season to protect Stafford and improve run game?

Shooting your wad on 5 offensive linemen at the expense of the rest of your team isn’t the only solution and may in fact backfire when the inevitable injuries happen again.

After last season, it should be obvious we need quality and depth versus the best 5 linemen in the league backed up by garbage.
                  True.....

When we had Linsley, the rest of the OL sucked..... so did the offense.....

Rams have 2 great WR's.... yet also used 3 TE's and running game to keep defenses honest and to help protect Stafford.....

Herbert finally has a great aggressive OC who knows how to use talent to attack any defense....... there is always a way to attack any defense...... he wont be lost and confused like Roman.......lol

We dont have to blow the wad on the OL BUT be need an actual starting grade NFL Center.......and we need to add 2 OG's who can start......They have to all be at least solid...... a great C would make rest of like even better.....

We cannot have anyone starting who allows jailbreaks of untouched pass rushers!... like this past season......

having very quick/fast receiversa and backs, allows them to get open more quickly giving Herbert easy quick dump offs that will keep chains moving and keep Herbert clean and drive defense crazy with frustration......and exhaustion.....lol

Becton was just pure rubbish, garbage, waste or whatever epithet which you wish to hang onto. Zion on the other hand, while excelled at run block, he did quite poorly in pass-pro. How much of that could be attributed to Alt's injury and then being taken out of service in addition to Bozeman not being far behind my descriptives of Becton, remains a mystery to me. I am confident tat the brilliant football minds in the Organization plus copious amount of film can determine the verdict in one for or the other. In my view, ZJ's durability may offset some of his deficiencies if the poor pass-pro is associated with technique (I remain doubtful).

with a great Center and solid OG's, it should help keep Herbert healthier as well as the other OL.....

Slater and Alt were hurt I believe by our IOL's getting driven into or pancaked into back or side of their legs?..... correct? better OL dont spend as much time on the ground getting beat like rag doll?... lol

some of that may be true, but he might be right that Roman and his OL coach were garbage, and did not coach the OL well.....
