In a broader sense of walking the talk, I cant think of a team in the NFL that has done that more than the Chiefs....7 straight division titles, 5 straight AFC final appearances, 5 Super Bowl appearances including 3 wins

. I dont need to believe it, have been forced to watch it in real time for years
If you've been watching the Chiefs closely, then you probably know how valuable Thuney was to their OL.
You probably also noticed how badly they got clobbered when their OT's crumbled.

You have no worries about their rookie OT re-habbing from his injury... but worry about Becton's health... even though he's played 35 of 38 games the last 2 years...? You seem to have very selective viewing tendencies.

The Patriots went to 9 Super Bowls including 6 wins... but that dynasty ended... just like the Chiefs will.
Why can't it end this year? Why must we speculate about this year... based on last year?

Must we speculate that Bradley Bozeman will be no better than his 61.2 pff score in 2024?
Why can't we speculate that he'll play closer to his 73.6 pff score of 2021?

And if we are destined to perform at last year's levels... should we speculate that Kingsley S will continue to perform @his 39.4 pff grade from last year? Why can't we speculate that Becton will perform @last year's 75.3 pff grade...?

Rules for me... but not for thee... I see.

    Play great defense

My point is, the Chiefs may not be fully prepared to stop the Chargers' run game, because the Chargers' rushing offense has not been very good for a long time.
That's true. I'm a kick 'em in the balls and punch them in the mouth supporter because we can and because they won't like it very much. They may find it confusing coming from a team they believe they should dominate.
Rinse, repeat. I'd like to close out the 4th with the ball in Omarion's hands. Not out of fear but basically FU KC because we can.

I'm hoping Najee can be a factor because I don't like our RB depth if he's not. Only Haskins - and he'll be busy on ST's - remains unless we bring up Vidal.

Haskins can handle a few snaps on offense.

Najee played 17 games a season his 1st 4 years. I don't think he'll take this one off. I do expect that Omarion gets the majority of snaps.

no let-up, full assault. That's what we should and can emulate.
Their blueprint is that they have one of the best rosters in football from top to bottom, we are no were near that, not even close, we can't manhandle the Chiefs like the Eagles did in the Super Bowl, we just don't have the horses, at the end of the day we stil have a sizable talent deficit while playing the Chiefs...I'm cautiously optimistic that we can beat them but to say that we are capable of going out there and doing to them what the Eagles did? to me that is delusion, it's not going to happen, we have to outsmart the Chiefs...easier said than done.......

Crowd the box and blitz...? With KA and Ladd @WR...? Good luck.

Well make sure Jim is aware, because I'm pretty sure he didn't hire Greg Roman to outsmart Spags, he hired him to run the most physical offense in the NFL, and we're on our way. Hence the Alt pick and Becton FA signing.
hence why we're settling for Zion's pass blocking to keep his run blocking. Hampton, Fisk, Matlock etc
The plan is to be the most physical team in the division. Both sides. we're well on our way sans Slater injury.
Tuli "F your QB" Tuipulotu officially adopted.

To me, Jamaree Caldwell and Tuli Tuipulotu represent the biggest hope we have of making things tough for Mahomes. I figure they'll double Mack if need be. Caldwell has been a terror in TC and the games this off-season. He could be this year's Poona Ford.

I also like that we now have KLS and Gadsden available for Justin. McConkey isn't the only quick receiving option now. I'm hoping their quickness off the line can to some degree of success mitigate the lack of o-line protection for Justin.

All that said I'm not ready to say we'll win this game. Andy Reid is SMART and Mahomes is a generational talent. Hoping Caldwell, along with Tuli, and our d-line rotation can make a big enough difference.

Well, in that case, it's the Keenan, Conk and McConk show...with an occasional midrange or deep shot to KLS...
