I'm glad that McCoy didn't bench him after the fumble.

I was for cutting Mathews before the season started. I've seen nothing, so far, to change my mind.
Before, I was thinking, 2 yards per rush and no fumbles was better than 3 yards per rush and fumbles.
But, now, Mathews isn't even getting the most yards per carry. It's Brown, who can also pass block. And it was that way last year.

Maybe we can trade him before the deadline. He would create a huge dead money hit if we cut him.

The funny thing is that when so many on here were high on him in preseason it was me that pointed out that praise would cease as soon as he did something wrong or got injured. I suppose that we don't need him now and can just figure on throwing it 45-50 times a game from now on since Rivers has been fixed.

First, I didn't bash Novak's kicking style. If you took the time to read rather than react (and I am being forgiving here) then you would realize that I was complementing him for correcting an issue that he has had whilst being our kicker before.

I haven't been all that critical of Dunlap. I don't consider him a viable LT but that assessment wouldn't put me in left field.
