It's not the news coming out, it's the lack of news. Tuerk was our center in waiting, but now you hear its Pulley (another 2nd year player) and Feeney working at C.

When the vets come in, that's when the real news starts. Maybe it is because Tuerk is moving to T. Or maybe not.

Maybe the ACL transplant didn't take and he's on his second one. OK, I shouldn't throw that stuff out there, but that's how I feel.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I just think it may be premature impending doom on Tuerk. Lets not interpret no news as a death knell. I agree with Bolts4lyfe...Tuerk was considered a top 2 or 3 interior OL before he got hurt. Hardwick said he has an amazing skillset. I think at the very least he ends up providing great depth. But id like an update on his injury.

Coming out he had amazing quick feet. Huge football IQ. And a known crazy good work ethic. Theres a reason why he was roommates with the USC QB. Huge film guy. I think he ends up being pretty solid.

Yeah, but it's OTAs. It means nothing and there is no real news in OTAs. Its why I don't give a crap about them. Lynn even said they are trying things. I won't really start to care til some point in TC. That's when we will know who can go. Just hoping for no big injuries in TC.

          I'm thinking it'll be
          Okung
          Feeny
          Slauson
          Lamp
          Barksdale
-Tuerk and Pulley as reserves for inside positions. Hairston as swing tackle. Clark and Tevi to PS.
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

Is it wrong that all this uncertainty right now is making me hopeful?

Try things, figure out what works, make a better OL than what we've had.

No its not wrong. Could you imagine going into mini camp with just one free agent signing on the Oline?

Can you imagine worrying about not being able to sign all you own players because there's not enough cap room?

Would be nice to roll over some of that cap room to next year for once.

                      My dream OL

                      LT - Okung/Hariston
                      LG - Feeney/Clark/Pulley
                      C- Tuerk/Pulley
                      RG - Slausson/Clark/Pulley
                      RT - Lamb/Hairston

Gives us a much better OL with upgrades at every position (except possibly Slausson, and that is at worst a draw).

I think people are not considering that Tuerk has had a full year of practice, film study, and access to guys like Slausson. Also he knows the playbook by heart by now and is really much farther ahead of the game than the two rookies. Even though he didn't play in a game last year, he should be a major candidate to start this year if his knee has fully healed. He also said that he has put on muscle weight through extensive training this past year.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing him play this year.
