The jury is still out, IMO. When comparing the identical records of McCoy and Lynn at the same point in their careers, I will point out that Lynn's roster has a LOT more talent than McCoys did. I thought McCoy did a very good job his first year and then gradually lost the team with his lack of being a leader.
What do you think of Lynn so far?

I liked Mccoy early but he just had no clue how to deal with adversity....couldnt coach or playcall worth a damn once things started to turn south. Glad we moved on.
Lynn has shown better already by getting over a 0-4 start to create an identity that worked last year. He adjusted to what won games even though on O that meant the opposite of his run mentality. He lets the coordinators have space to work their side of the ball. He needs to close this out and finish strong into the playoffs.

AL may be a bit old school in his approach and conservative at times. I want him to be a better game time manager and he has both great and head scratching moments.
The thing that I notice is he is installing a toughness both mentally and physically. He has the team and team leaders behind him. The TEAM is all on message, bought in, and playing hard.My 2021 Adopt-A-Bolt List

I also feel like the players genuinely like each other and are having a lot of fun.
I think Lynn is getting better and better and he's the best charger coach in 12 years.

His post game reaction of two weeks ago "at least we made all of our dammed kicks" says it all to me. He is as frustrated with the kicking turd show as we are. I like AL. the future is bright.

The players respect that and will ball for AL.
Nobody rolling their eyes in that lockerroom.
Transformation.
Expect big things.
We are evolving daily.
This time we rock in KC.We do not play modern football.

I think it's more of the latter than anything.
