We give AZ @ 28 for Rosen and @ 33.

AZ gets an OT, say Greg Little @ 28.

    LAC trades @ 33 aka pick 1, day 2 to NE for @ 56 & @ 64.
LAC gets Rosen plus three of the first 64 picks.

This is yet another draft where after pick 15, pick 50 has as much talent as pick 16.

Who will drop past pick 50?

    Big score for LAC.

There is no way Cardinals are trading Rosen just to move up 5 spots. They will also need Chargers 2nd rd pick #60.

        Rosen & pick #33 for Chargers picks #28 & #60.

This deal works because Cardinals get the 1st rd pick they want. And for the Chargers it really works because they get last years #10 overall for pick #60 and the swap back 5 spots to #33.

Basically, Chargers are turning pick 28 & 60 into pick 10 (Rosen) & pick 33.

Rosen if he stayed in school and entered this draft he would still be a top 15 pick this year. He has the talent to be a franchise QB. It does not mean it works out. But the ability is there and his best football is ahead of him.

Who has it better than us?

Still say this is all speculation. I read an article yesterday that said the Chargers have leaked nothing on this so it's coming from somewhere else, not our front office.
            Not happening imo.

Yep. Trying to manipulate the media in order to drive up the price.

There is no way the chargers are going to give up a first and second rounder to take a QB off Arizona's hands that they don't want and the chargers don't need.

Is there a buyers or a sellers market for Rosen ?

AZ may need to trade Rosen.

He might be a Favre to Green Bay for us.

Idk I get that he's got some problems every player does in this league, they grow and work on them and get better over time. If he doesn't then you get rid of him and you don't really lose much. If he hits it's a huge boon.

When I t comes to playing time and paying him I get it. I suspect the coaches will have a really good idea free o long with him under center. It's better than paying a young rookie who you haven't been able to groom under a hall of famer for at worst 3 years on the cheap. It would be an easy transition and the coaches I'm sure would know if he's ready or not. He may actually get a year of play under his belt before then which would be huge.
does he have the mental make up and personality to "sit and learn" 1-3 years behind Rivers- or any starting QB? If he has his mind set he's a starter PERIOD that will cause problems if he sits.

Except Favre wasn't a top-10 pick and they got him for a song.
