I'm not putting my hopes of future success at the QB position on a late 5th rounder.
I am planning to acquire an ELITE talent at the MOST important position in football. If Easton becomes a winning, starting QB for us then we have a ton of draft capital to spend elsewhere.
Lets be prepared then decide which direction to go.

While I love the winning story Stick brings to the Chargers, I have to agree that it is very difficult to find a staring quality QB in the 5th round. (and please.... I do not need to hear about Tom Brady everyone.) Anyway while I would LOVE for Stick to be all of that, the odds are that he is just another Shimonek or Bercovi or (insert camp fodder name here.)

True. He is not the traditional MLB build. He is fast, hard hitting, aggressive, smart, plays pass D well and has good range. Could be the modern prototype?

Kyzir is my dude. Everything you said and his instincts, processing skills, and football IQ.
The staff have taken a slow approach with his knee so far in TC, with multiple days off. I hope the knee responds well and his workload increases leading up to the Colts.
