Yep...the dropped TD...and don't forget those times Twill ran the wrong route and Rivers jawed at him...yes, Twill was good, but had his moments...

That hurt to watch, but I can forgive it as every receiver does it at some point. What bugged me much more was how he did not always fight for a contested pass, something unforgivable for a receiver with his size and strength. He was better at the start of last season, but as the season wore on he seemed to go back to just waiting for a pass to come to him. Seems like Rivers must have a dozen interceptions for passes aimed his way over the past few years.

MIke Williams alone. Tyrell Williams got a lot of yards, so the passer rating to him is pretty good, but the passer rating to Mike Williams is great because he had 10 TD last year (and only 1 int credited to him).

Not only that, but:

Twill: 5 TD's, but 5 picks.
Mike Will: 10 TD's, only 1 pick

Therefore, for some reason, whether due to running the wrong route, or not fighting for the rock, when Twill was targeted, a 5-1 ratio in picks compared to Mike Will. Not good.

I changed the topic title, if only to recognize that T. Williams seems to be more of interest than Desmond, lol.

It's not like T Williams stats are bad. He is just really outplayed by Mike.

If you look below, there are 3 other pretty good receivers who are all about the same as T. Williams. Williams is a very good receiver, which is why there is all the discussion. It's just you need the context that MIke played so much better.

IMV, Tyrell was temporarily focused during the early part of the 2018 season, wherein he essentially "got his contract."

Otherwise he relies on his elite athleticism.

My prediction is he will now have a return to mental gaffs and lack of focus as a Raider.
