Now, Feeney, for example, is getting his arms/hands too far outside of defender's shoulder pads, and drawing holding penalties at inopportune times. Tighten this up, and his abilities out in space will continue to create real nice running lanes.

Many of us still clamor for a left side of Lamp @ OLT and Feeney @ OLG, as refined players.

    It takes time.
I'd like to see Lamp in for Tevi a few series to see how he does...Tevi is the one who had trouble with Von Miller the last time around...remember?

Jones at any price = waaaaay too expensive. He's not NFL caliber, why bring him in?

not sure how rough a start it might have been, as yeah 'twoulda been nice to be 3-1 or better, and.... we coulda faced Luck and done our usual in Miami, 'cept the Dolphins are half beached and Jacoby played outta his tree 'gainst us, albeit we still prevailed, and.... we don't know how good the Texans/Lions are, and.... there's still that Chargers slow start feng shui theory out there ??

and think Forrest steps in for Scho, for if and when he cracks the starting lineup, albeit again do think we're better off w/him @LG and Feeney on the other side @RG ??

Tevi's feet are never gonna be tackle quality. Would he make a decent guard?

Time to let Lamp play. There needs to be a significant improvement on the offensive line.

I don't think the guard play has been terrible this year. Definitely not blowing people out of the water. The tackles have been the problem. Put Lamp in at RT, can it get much worse?

I didn't check the Texans game, but I looked at the other 3 games. Tevi was responsible for a sack in each of them. In the Miami game Tevi didn't know who to help out, leaving the Dolphins edge rusher to Culkin who got beaten, giving up a sack to Rivers.

If there's anything beneficial to Lynn hanging Lamp around at the backup spot, it would be that he isn't locking him down to one area, and we get to see Lamp demonstrate his abilities on other spots on the line and his versatility.

Teams take risk on guys with a cannon arm, mobile, and were winners in college. At least it was only a 7th and not the 3rd overall pick.

Our run game is actually pretty decent. It's the pass blocking that is inconsistent.

What's gonna happen is Lamp is gonna have his agent demand a trade out of here and he'll become a Pro Bowler somewhere else (as he's shown well capable of doing whenever he gets his reps).

There better not be anyone saying BS like "Oh hindsight is 50/50, who knew Lamp would ever be this good" then because there's quite a bit of posters in this thread itself as well as many others commenting on Chargers social media posts about how he needs to be starting over the useless others.

I just hope it isn't the Patriots or someone in the division that end up with him.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

                        - 69-74 record
                        - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
                        - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
                        - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
                        - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
                        - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
                        - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

How can a top pick continue to have bad technique the 3rd year in? He's not picking up stuff sitting - that's for damn sure.
Is anyone seeing much progress from Feeney & Tevi? Maybe they should stop trying to develop talent & spend themselves blind at those positions
