Predict Rivers' future

Rivers will play as long as he is excited to play (not much excitement this year).
I hope TT resigns him but am worried about the price tag.
I'm not worried about Rivers wanting to spend more time with his family as it's not like he's ignored them the past 15 years, he spends a ton of time with them. I doubt he would blow them off for 15 years and then spend time with the youngens after ignoring the older ones lol. He is really only gone like 2 days every other week for only 20 weeks out of 52 for road games. H
He can even still coach Gunner on Fridays as there is no game on Fridays.

I am on the fence about Rivers. Fifty percent of me would like to see a parting of ways ... I do feel the relationship with the team has become stagnant. Rivers might be better off with a change of scenery in the final years of his career and a fresh-legged young gun might recharge the Chargers.
What if the Las Vegas Raiders decide to move on from Carr? Can you imagine Gruden and Rivers? :freakout:

Personally rather see him play another year or two. He might retire, but it completely depends on how the rest of the season shakes out. They looked bad 2 years ago, 3-5 at the bye - and ended up 9-7.
Thing is, He's far from the biggest issue - or really a issue at all. Can anyone say he's the only one having problems this season? 17 has been very inconsistent, but he's got in slumps before. He had a damn good season last year.
I don't think plugging in some running QB, for the sake of " we need a running QB" will fix anything either. I think there's something bad wrong with the bolts, and it isn't all due to injuries or personnel on the field.Last edited by Midwestbolt; 10-21-2019, 05:43 PM.
