No disipline? What's he gonna do? Bench the OTs that already don't deserve to be out there ?
We need a better OL and need another WR or two with speed. Need Derwin. Need Rivers to make better decisions

You can't predict injuries but it is his job to have suitable backups in place. SF lost both of their starting tackles and went 7-1 NE lost their LT and C and went 8-1. You have to look at the big picture not whether one unit was good in particular. This year we are 4-7. It doesn't matter if our D is better than avg when our O reeks. We have gone backwards.
Telesco is 52-55 and below .500 in his 7 yrs here. How many more years of mediocrity is tolerable?Last edited by Cdn Bolt; 11-19-2019, 09:56 PM.

I'll tell ya who needs to be relieved of their duties. Forrest Lamp. Having been taken fairly high in the second round, TT is treating the guy like his special needs project. To save face maybe. The strides Scott Queensbury has made as a fifth rounder in just his first season as a starter puts Forrest Lamp to shame. Message to TT: Cut bait, take the shame. I'm not sure he's even a viable backup.

We all understand he has had two injuries that have derailed his first few years but it would be nuts to let him walk now. If he gets hurt again next year, we can let him walk as his contract will expire.

It's not so bad if I keep reminding myself of that. I suppose he's an example of how you can't tell how someone will transition from the collegiant ranks to the NFL.
The real negative for him is him being hurt.

This is a TEAM game, not an individual one-ring circus where one player keeps playing Hero Ball, while his teammates continue to suffer in defeat after defeat, because of River's stubbornness. Sorry, Lynn has lost this team, at least he's lost any kind of accountability and discipline when it comes to his relationship with our QB...any good coach gives Rivers a few warnings to play under control, and if he keeps violating, he gets yanked, and next man up...
Rivers can’t fricking block and throw the ball, come on people. Recognize this is a depth issue.
We spent a 3rd round pick on a two to three year project at tackle instead of trying to find someone who could be serviceable. We decided not to address tackle or oline in the first two pick in the draft and instead picked a mercurial dt who would get lost in college games and a safety.
Telesco has hit some home run with bosa and James but let’s be honest even a forum member could have gotten those picks right.
