I get he gets sacked more because he hold it more.
But the pass block rank of 28th has nothing to do with sacks or how long Wilson holds the ball.
He could throw it away and take zero sacks and his offensive line would still rank 28th in pass block win rate.

Yes, Seahawks 28th because of Wilson lol. He holds the ball too long.
He is always one of the most sacked QBs.

Conversely Chargers pass blocking rank is inflated because Rivers has one of the quickest releases in the league.

I understand that. I think our OL is worse than theirs it's just Wilson takes more sacks than Rivers by holding the ball longer.

Rivers was sacked 34 times this year...which is actually a lot for him. It's usually lower. Last year I think was in the twenties.

That's why I asked him where this ranking comes from using what formula.

You are saying he would have us in the playoffs with THIS OL?

I think its maybe the other way around. Wilson holds the ball too long, always has. May have been sacked 60 times with this OL.

Lynn definitely deserves to be fired I just don't think he will be.

Most likely he will be fired next season with Telesco. Just like when Spanos fired AJ and Norv.

Better to hold it than force it and give the other team good field position at least. He and Rivers both fumbled 5 times this season. But Wilson only had 5 int. Rivers had 20. Seems like Wilson is doing alright and I'm sure it helps that he is not one dimensional.

Given a choice, a sack is better than a pick. With a sack, at least you maintain possession. With a pick, it's a turnover, not to mention the YAC after the pick. Total game-breaker...
