Wow! Amazing! Well boys, I'm packing up the family and moving to Wisconsin... I will miss you all!
Please take care of Wu for me... and don't forget a saucer of milk for TopCat every night before bedtime... we may not be back...

I've enjoyed exchanging stories with you all... and just when we were beginning to get close... but this little piece of synth-hyped, information-laden, piece of... reporting... is just what I've been missing in my un-fulfilled, hole-of-a-life!

Fairwell my un-washed-ring-missing friends! I travel for the Promised Land tonight!

    Tootle-Loo,

    -Nutty-

PS I hear they have beaches out there
    Protect the QB
    Run the ball
    Play great defense

The best HC in recent history for the Packers is Brandon Staley. He developed Jordan Love from a potential bust to top paid QB in one game and single-handedly got the Packers into the playofffs last year, even with a roster that was substandard compared to Packer standards. I will have to check his Bio on 49ers.com to see if they are crowing about how he turned around an NFL QB and franchise.

The battle between Detroit and Green Bay is what I'm most interested in outside of the AFC West. I just think Jordan Love's ascendance, along with what Josh Jacobs will bring in the running game, could be too much for Detroit's defense. It should be a lot of fun to watch, though.

I have rooted for the 49ers quite a bit over the last five years, in hopes that they would take out the Chiefs. Their defensive line isn't as deep as it's been in recent years, though, and I'm concerned about Dre Greenlaw's return from a torn Achilles. I'll still root for them to win the NFC West. I like their style.
I am with you, brother. Have always liked the Lions due to relatives in the Detroit metro area and boy, have their fans suffered over the years. They deserve some good times. I admit I thought Campbell was a joke and would be the latest in the long line of Lions’ HC failures. Very glad I was wrong. He is just what they needed and is a genuine guy who fits that city.

I lived in Detroit metro for 5 yrs, I’m partial to a degree. I’d be more on board except when I was there they were horrid, distant last place team playing to half empty silverdome crowds. Bo’s Wolverines were THE football ticket but the Scotty’s Red Wings ruled the town with the Russian 5.

Now, now. Don’t confuse all of Wisconsin with one sad and lonely and pesky packers fan. It is a great state (in the SUMMER) with tons to do, great food, a really nice water front, and really nice people with good values. At least most of them. If you like cheese, beer, brats, festivals, pretty girls, nightlife and the Great Lakes, give Milwaukee a try some time. Just stay away from anyone who introduces himself to you as PackersNation or PackerNation or PackerNations or PackersNations.

Detroit is coming back, slowly, DMAC. Still pretty rough if you make a wrong turn….

I've had my fill of cheese, brats, and beers during my recent trip to Germany/Belgium/Netherlands. Pretty girls, festivals, and nightlife I can find here in SD. It's the beaches I'm really after. I've looked hard... but can't seem to find them here...

BTW... the heat and humidity of Mid-West summers goes on my cons-list. I've been to Ohio, Florida, and Mizzery in the summer. I'll add chiggers to the con-list also.

I can see why the Heatmiser might enjoy the mid-west summers.

According to him, plenty to do in Wisconsin. Last night I googled things to do in Green Bay. No kidding, the top thing to do was go visit Lambeau Field 😄

I was always told the women in Wisconsin, especially Milwaukee were big lol. Well, actually they said most everyone. But never been there myself. I'm sure not all are big but maybe he didn't like Milwaukee lol..

Thats right! That was hilarious …

It is - in bits. It looked like Beirut when I lived there. Homes couldn’t be sold for $5k. Block after block of burnt out stripped out husks, long since overgrown by weeds and shrubs as the land reclaimed a prior civilization. I learned of Devil’s night, which was night before Halloween. Originally it was punks burning shit, but the good folk started to use that night to go burn down abandoned crack houses in their neighborhood.
