I am sure they did the same with Cushenberry
The way it sounds, Jenkins will be released by the Packers - so unless somebody trades for him - same thing

There are a lot of ways to improve the Oline -but come Monday about 2pm - I hope we have some guidance

      A 2026 #1, 5th, 6th, and 2027 3rd. That’s not just draft capital, that’s a war chest.

Now the Chargers get to watch the Chiefs reload, like it’s nothing. Hortiz probably woke up in a cold sweat like, “wait, they got four picks for him and TPB’s think I can remake the whole Charger squad into a powerhouse with just 5 picks?

like I said. Chargers got screwed.
The Chiefs had 23m of cap space after trading McDuffie and releasing Jawann Taylor
They kicked the can on Chris Jones - a 32 y ear old Chris Jones who was declining for another $25m

The Chiefs are at basically 50m of cap space and they had to push $70 into the future to get their

Rams and Chiefs had different reasons for making the trade

        Relax

The Chiefs cant fix it all at once and rookies dont all step in and dominate

Chiefs have holes at 3 premium positions....CB, Edge, WR...RT also suspect

Plus they have lots of salary baggage pushed to the future to get under cap

Still haven’t adequately replaced Hill after trading him to Miami. This move helps them but let’s not be dramatic.

I think it was a good trade for the Rams and Chiefs
But the Chiefs do need OT with releasing Taylor
TE is a need - Kelce is not the same
              RB is a need
WR for sure as Rice isn't going to be back , Worthy is who he is
Multiple DBs -- they might lose Watson and Cook in free agency besides trading McDuffie
Mahomes is coming off an ACL
Jones isn't getting younger and the other DTs have been okay
Leo chanel will probably not be back - but maybe - they have 50m of cap space
Watch them sign Kenneth Walker though

Nobody can say the Chiefs weren't great, dominated for 8 years, 5 super bowls and three rings
but to say they will be instant contenders again, thats a stretch

I heard Texans might not want to pay Stroud 200+ million. First thought to my mind was he's out played Herbert. umm right?

                Nope.

A quick check on stats and nope. Stroud's best season is like Herbert's worse season. Different level of QB.

Good list, but also who are effective edge rushers?

                    Karlaftis and ??

They released Mike Danna for cap space

                    Good call out

Again, it was probably the right trade for KC to move forward - they got a haul -- but they need so much after being so damn good for so damn long. Friustratingly good

I’ve been told it’s all about the OL.

If you don’t have all pro’s at all 5 spots you can’t fairly grade the QB.

In 2024, Stroud had the worst ranked OL among playoff teams. His 2023 and 2025 OL’s have been volatile and piss poor as well.

Despite that, he’s won 3 playoff games to Herbert’s zero.

Danna was the LB who fractured Herbert's rib cartilage in 2022. He was in the same rookie class as Herbert. After Herbert scored his first NFL TD on his first NFL possession against the Chiefs in week 2 of 2020, Danna knocked Herbert to the ground 5 yards into the end zone a full second after he'd scored, but wasn't flagged for it.

If looking for D line help in free agency...this guy will get interest around the league

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Vikings are expected to release DT Jonathan Allen.

The Vikings have had to make serious cuts due to salary cap constraints heading into the offseason. Allen joins the line of players headed out the door, saving Minnesota $6.5 million in cap space. The 31-year-old signed a three-year deal with the team last March and tallied 3.5 sacks and 11 quarterback hits in his sole season as a Viking. Allen will have a sizeable market as a veteran interior pass rusher.
