The Cowboys tried to trade him before the deadline, but he was on IR and there were no takers. He has 3.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons, he could be decent depth. I wonder why the 'Boys were so eager to move on from him.

They are overloaded with talent at edge and my guess is they are creating a roster spot for OBJ.

I'll take a stab. 6-4, 260 D3 Indy 2017 FA NYJ '21. Cut 3X Basham has only played 26 snaps this year due to IR for knee/ thigh injury. C- girls not impressed with his rehab.
I'd look elsewhere. 39 tackles, 3 1/2 sacks last year, he's depth IF he's healthy..

I would not be shocked to see Belicheat's Patriots go a decade without a division title and only sometimes make the wildcard, but go nowhere. The AFC East is not a race his team is favored to win anymore.

I still like Mac Jones. Really crappy offense around Mac Jones and I think he would be a quality game manager on a much more talented team. Plus who's the Patriots OC. He makes Lombardi look like a genius. LOL!

11.5 sacks in his 6 year career...he is not way better than what we have...plus the injury stuff SJ brought up.
