Thomas Davis on NFL network tonight, reiterating what we all pretty much know....Coach Lynn loves Tyrod. Davis believes Tyrod will get his shot. I think he is right, and as far as FA is concerned, QB is off the list, IMO...but still a big consideration for the draft. I fully expect a QB to be drafted to sit behind Tyrod for a year or two. Lynn is gonna get the team he envisions, rather than the one he inherited a few years ago...for better or worse....TT may be his biggest fan, lol.

If they stick with Tyrod as the starter, we are already sunk and just a terrible move by Lynn and Telesco for letting it happen. When we tank, they both need to be fired.
However, I'll hold out to see what QB they draft. I'm sure there has to be one coming.

I agree...not a fan of Tyrod....but as hard as it will be to endure, it is probably what happens...and might be best for the rookie we take, to sit a year and learn.

Now, if we don't pick a QB this year and move forward with Tyrod...?...and have a losing season? Off with their heads....

The rookie has most likely already been taken and has already had a year to sit and learn.

TT/AL knew the post-Rivers era was coming and devised a plan. Last year's signing of Tyrod and drafting of Stick was the preliminary step of the plan. Today's parting of ways with Philip was the plan's execution. They will stick (pun intended) with the plan until it works or fails. Until then, I doubt we spend any draft capital on a QB.

Expect to see a totally different Chargers offense in 2020 with Tyrod as QB1 and Stick as QB2.
