The Jets are cursed. Their 2020 1st rnd pick #11 overall, Mekhi Becton, is gone for the season after a fracture to his right kneecap. He missed all but one game last due a knee injury as well. He was highly regarded coming into the league two years ago, 6-7 347 lbs. The Jets' 2021 1st rnd pick, 2nd overall, QB Zach Wilson injured his knee last week and had to have his meniscus trimmed. He's supposed to be able to return a week or two into the season. Initially, it was thought the injury might be a tear, which would've ended his season. Don't be surprised, though, if this is not the end of that injury.

the jets will take a step forward this season, they are improving, it wouldn’t surprise me if they win 8 games…injuries happen and it sounds like they dodged a bullet with wilson, becton was having issues with the team before camp, the way his injury was reported was strange, I think he was becoming a distraction…right now the team wants him to dedicate himself to proper training and carry less weight, I’m not sure he’s going to benefit from being away from the team, don’t be surprised if the jets trade him in the 2023 offseason…

I just don’t like the Jets QB situation. Wilson hasn’t impressed me at all. He just seems like a guy and in the AFC you aren’t competing with anyone if you don’t have an elite quarterback. The teams in this division are too good. We’re going to have teams that miss the playoffs in the AFC this year that I would stack up against the best of the NFC.

A few hiccups, with one of those being more the qbs fault (don't ask me which one), should not mitigate an entire game of Trev pulverizing and steamrolling Dlinemen.

Its just that some people here have an agenda and are big on those gotcha moments.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I think a lot of people, including myself, said the same last year and KC ended up winning the division.
