With the expanded playoffs, I think 10-6 is a wild card lock.

2020 will be mediocre with a 10-6 ceiling. We will get to see what we have with our current youngsters and where more talent is needed while preparing our new QB/installing new offensive scheme.
2021 will net us 8 draft picks as of now and a large amount of Cap space for internal & FA contracts. 2021 pending draft class looks stacked at OT, OC, EDGE, and to a lesser extent LB, CB, & WR. Lines up with several positions we may/will need to address.

Looks like TT/Staff/AL have a long term plan and are executing it. The window with Phil didn’t pan out but a new window is emerging.
A mediocre 2020 is a definite maybe right now. LAC could be very good.
IF. If we stay reasonably healthy and if we get the kind of production that appears possible. Development of youth and scheme fit are variables TBD.
      We got a shot.

With improvements to all four teams in our division I see no less than two teams from our division making the playoffs per year for the next decade and now with 7 playoff teams we might see every other year 3 teams from our division going to playoffs. The biggest problem is that we might beat up on each to much before the end of the season.

I was a big Rivers fan. But it was time for him and the team to part ways. I think Rivers wanted to be a San Diego Charger and the last year - he was fed up with it. I hope he does well in Indy - he deserves a GREAT OL, and the crowd support that the home team deserves.

Chargers needed a QB that fit better with Lynn. I actually think this is one instance where both parties made the best decision for each party even if one party decided more than the other - I think its still the right call Rivers moved on.

I pretty much agree with your take. Looking back it seems like the writing was on the wall when Spanos moved them to LA.
I hope Rivers has a great season and we knock him out of the SB when we beat the Colts in the AFC Championship game.

                      I concur!

If we aren’t in/get knocked out of the dance, I hope we will all be rooting for Phil to get his ring.

I will still get NFL Sunday Ticket again this year, will be taping the Colts games for sure. And there is only one reason I will be doing that!

I just saw that Cam says he will now consider being a back-up QB. Funny how no interest from anybody can make that decision possible. I am SO GLAD we did not touch that guy...........
